Quality Manager - Electrical Apprenticeship Training
An established electrical training provider in Birmingham is seeking a Quality Manager to drive excellence across their apprenticeship provision. With over 650 electrical apprentices and partnerships with 350+ contractors, this is a chance to shape quality standards in a thriving sector.
What you'll do:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies across all training provision
- Conduct lesson observations to Ofsted requirements and support EQA visits
- Work with awarding bodies including City & Guilds, Highfields and EAL
- Mentor teaching staff to ensure consistent quality delivery
- Chair standardisation meetings and design curriculum guidance
- Support Matrix accreditation and Ofsted framework compliance
- Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Deliver safeguarding, Prevent and equality & diversity training
- Ideally deliver Level 3 AET and teaching qualifications
What you need:
- Proven experience in quality/teaching role within apprenticeship training
- Strong understanding of Ofsted framework and quality processes
- Teaching, Assessment and IQA qualifications
- Experience working within work-based learning provision
- Ability to teach and assess teaching qualifications (AET/CAVA advantageous)
- Enhanced DBS clearance and right to work in UK
What's on offer:
- £34,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
- Permanent position (full or part-time considered)

- Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thu, 8:00am-4:00pm Friday
- 6-month probation period
